The teams from École Polytechnique, ENS Lyon and ENS Paris this year successfully published their solution to the Popsicle-stick cobra, from IPT 2016, in Physical Review Letters. Furthermore, the article was selected for an article for APS’ Physics focus.

The voting for IPT 2018 problems has now started. The members of the International Organizing Committee are in charge of gathering the votes of every interested people in their countries.
The problems for the next IPT are now being accepted. The deadline for problems proposal is May 21st. If you or some of your colleagues have some suggestions of problems we would be delighted to hear from you.
